Senior Technical Consultant
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Develop Mule 4 applications involving APIs, flows, DataWeave, MUnit, error handling, and prescribed integration patterns.
- Implement canonical and customer-specific contracts using saga, idempotency, asynchronous, and event-driven patterns.
- Convert MuleSoft APIs into discoverable structured assets using MuleSoft MCP support for AI-agent interaction.
- Implement secure cross-domain communication using the A2A Protocol for autonomous-agent task delegation.
- Produce design notes, technical documentation, runbooks, MUnit suites, test evidence, and deployment artifacts.
- Work with customer technical teams, MuleSoft architects, and other stakeholders to unblock delivery.
- Operate and troubleshoot integrations across customer cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments in development, test, and production.
- Follow MuleSoft delivery standards, code-review gates, and customer change-management policies.
- Track and report time, status, and delivery risks according to the Engagement Manager’s cadence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on Mule 4 development experience delivering production integrations.
- Active MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 certification, or willingness to obtain it within the first 30 days at the contractor’s own cost.
- End-to-end integration project implementation experience from requirements through deployment.
- Strong knowledge of DataWeave 2.x, RAML/OAS, MUnit, and HTTP, Salesforce, JMS, and database connectors.
- Experience with CloudHub, API Manager policies, and Anypoint Exchange.
- Java troubleshooting and code-reading skills, including heap, threads, and profiling fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently on Mule fundamentals and integrate into delivery teams without supervision.
- Understanding of data formats used for AI grounding and Retrieval-Augmented Generation contexts.
- Preferred qualifications include Anypoint Runtime Fabric, MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 2 or MuleSoft Architecture Certification, industry-vertical delivery experience, and event-driven design with Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or Solace.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Agentforce configurations, LLM context handling, generative integration applications, and CI/CD pipelines into Anypoint.
- Ability to explain complex technical architectures and MuleSoft topics in terms of business value.
- Working spoken and written English, readiness to travel as required, and experience in international cross-functional teams are required or valued as applicable.
