Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for evaluating alternatives to DynamoDB and evolving the service architecture.
- Develop multi-region high-availability mechanisms and participate in disaster-recovery testing.
- Implement encryption and robust access-control improvements across the platform.
- Automate deployment processes and optimize infrastructure-resource usage.
- Resolve complex, high-impact technical problems in a critical, high-traffic service while collaborating with other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience developing highly available, low-latency distributed systems.
- Experience using, administering, and modeling non-relational key-value databases.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud architectures and container orchestration.
- Advanced experience using artificial-intelligence tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.
