Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, development task identification, work planning, and workflow management.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, review, and deploy scalable applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and multiple solution options.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to align solutions with business strategies and IT architecture standards.
- Develop and optimize relational databases and support NoSQL, event streaming, and integration solutions.
- Define development standards, conduct code and module reviews, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior developers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and promote effective use of IT systems through education and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of application programming and analysis experience.
- Advanced programming skills in several programming languages and experience with front-end and back-end development.
- Expertise in React, C#, Microsoft development tools, composable commerce, microservice architecture, B2B2C solutions, and headless architecture platforms.
- Understanding of NoSQL, relational database design, object-oriented design patterns, event streaming, integration methodologies, and test-driven development.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring or leading junior developers.
- Strong ability to analyze complex requirements, develop alternative solutions, and explain tradeoffs.
- Technical experience with networking, databases, development, user support, and Microsoft SQL or Access.
- Experience with CommerceTools, ContentStack, Redux or Context API, system troubleshooting and optimization, and version-control branching and merging is preferred.
- Exposure to IBM Power 8 server technology and WMS applications is preferred but not required.
