Base Salary
$167k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reusable software features and contribute to product architecture and design.
- Develop and maintain Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and administrative tools for AI Search.
- Create and maintain search-related UI components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the company’s UI framework.
- Develop analytics dashboards, database schemas, and data transformation and loading processes.
- Modify GraphQL, Java, and scriptable APIs to add functionality and resolve defects.
- Provide technical support for customer-reported search UI and UX issues.
- Own code from design through delivery, including automated testing and production readiness.
- Create and maintain testing scripts, tools, test plans, test suites, and end-to-end test cases.
- Use Java, Jenkins, JUnit, Playwright, and Selenium in quality and test automation efforts.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams on requirements, acceptance criteria, Agile ceremonies, technical decisions, and cross-product dependencies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software quality principles including reliability, observability, and production readiness.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance across the stack.
- Experience with AI-powered tools or workflows, including dataset validation, model predictions, and inference consistency.
- Comfort with IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems.
- Experience applying critical thinking to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
