Responsibilities
- Partner with technology teams on LLM projects and provide technical guidance and assistance.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to deliver ML products and deploy data storage and processing systems.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable, production-quality software solutions.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers.
- Integrate advances in AI technologies into engineering operations.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Advanced Python programming skills and proven experience building and operating scalable ML-driven products.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment and the ability to iterate quickly.
- Proficiency across the software development lifecycle, including Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale cloud-native architectures.
- Experience tuning microservices performance, optimizing performance, and supporting real-time applications.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Azure and/or AWS certifications are preferred.
