Responsibilities
- Provide e-commerce strategy and guidance for clients replatforming to Shopify.
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, project scoping, estimation, architecture, implementation, launch, and optimization for enterprise Shopify engagements.
- Design and implement custom Shopify themes, features, functionality, apps, integrations, and third-party services.
- Design Shopify integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP, OMS, PIM, inventory, fulfillment, marketing, payment, tax, and CRM platforms.
- Lead technical conversations with clients, sales teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure engineering best practices.
- Identify technical challenges and implement solutions that improve client outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout project delivery.
- Stay current with Shopify platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and customizing Shopify-based e-commerce solutions.
- Significant Shopify Plus and enterprise e-commerce implementation experience.
- Proficiency with Shopify platform architecture, themes, Liquid, APIs, and app development.
- Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Experience leading and managing a team of developers.
- Strong client communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, project management tools, and version control systems.
- Shopify Developer certifications, such as Shopify Plus Certified or Shopify App Developer Certification, are a plus.
