Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Bumble application features.
- Drive technically complex product features from inception to delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ship new features.
- Evaluate and apply AI-based development tools to enhance productivity.
- Lead architecture discussions and propose long-term technical solutions.
- Support junior engineers through mentoring and code reviews.
- Guide the development of engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Proven ability to run projects autonomously and deliver production-ready systems.
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages like Kotlin, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Exposure to secure API design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
