Base Salary
$119k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on development of Appian BPM applications for federal digital modernization customers.
- Develop Appian plugins and configure forms, reports, underlying logic, and interface components.
- Install and support application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, and IIS.
- Configure, debug, and perform systems integration for large-scale business-critical applications.
- Work with relational databases and SQL scripting across all phases of software development.
- Define and document architecture for technology implementations and translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
- Support growth-related activities such as RFIs, RFPs, prototypes, and oral presentations as needed.
- Maintain required certifications for the Appian practice.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- The candidate must reside and perform work in the United States and support U.S. Eastern time zone working hours.
- At least 7 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM is required.
- At least 7 years of experience developing Appian plugins is required.
- At least 7 years of experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, or IIS is required.
- At least 7 years of experience configuring, debugging, and performing systems integration is required.
- At least 7 years of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting is required.
- At least 7 years of experience across the software development lifecycle for large-scale business-critical applications is required.
- Appian Level 1 certification is desired, and Level 2 or Level 3 Appian certification is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree, federal government software development experience, architecture documentation experience, Java development, and Maven build experience are preferred.
- Experience with Appian Tempo, Appian Sites, enterprise application integration, SOA, ESB, and n-tier client-server architectures is preferred.
- Strong analytical, technical, written and verbal communication, teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are desired.
