Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop software application functionality and configuration using commercial development tools and applications.
- Create solutions for complex material-handling and logistics projects.
- Build customer features and functionality with cross-functional teams.
- Develop high-quality code and unit tests.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and execution.
- Troubleshoot complex problems across integrated software and mechatronic systems.
- Improve internal processes to make code deployment easier, faster, and more consistent.
- Break down tasks into work packets.
- Coach and mentor less-experienced developers.
- Validate system functionality and testing at customer sites across North America, with approximately 20% travel.
- Continue developing skills through certifications and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or another engineering degree.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 1 year of automation or material-handling industry experience.
- Advanced knowledge of at least two object-oriented languages, including Java EE.
- Proficiency in at least one additional programming language.
- Intermediate knowledge of at least two operating systems.
- Two industry-standard certifications.
- Ability to work independently and within a team with limited coaching.
