Senior Software Engineer

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient software across the full technology stack.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, APIs, contracts, workflows, schemas, and data models.
- Own end-to-end delivery of features and services while aligning implementation with architectural standards.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and resolve production issues.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation, validating outputs for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Drive spec-driven development and ensure implementations meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, and Engineering teams on design and technical decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to coding standards, engineering practices, and AI-use practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 4+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 18+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Current authorization to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship; OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, and visa sponsorship are not permitted.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or .NET.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and data models.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with spec-driven or contract-first development, technical specifications, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale or mission-critical systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, AI integrations such as LLM APIs, workflow automation, debugging, and performance tuning.
