Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing software across the full technology stack.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications covering APIs, contracts, workflows, and data models.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features or services and break specifications into actionable, estimable tasks.
  • Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while ensuring code quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify risks and dependencies, and improve performance and reliability.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, test creation, debugging, documentation, and prompt engineering.
  • Validate and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, and maintainability.
  • Drive spec-driven or contract-first development and ensure implementations satisfy defined acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, and Engineering teams on design discussions and technical decisions.
  • Contribute to engineering standards and best practices and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship; OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, and visa sponsorship are not accepted.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 4+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 18+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or .NET.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and distributed systems.
  • Understanding of system design, APIs, and data models.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with spec-driven or contract-first development and defining technical specifications.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools and safely validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale or mission-critical systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, AI capabilities such as LLM APIs, search, or recommendations, workflow automation, debugging, and performance tuning.
