Base Salary

$80k - $133k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with frontend developers to design, define, and optimize scalable APIs for ArcGIS Online content items, groups, and users.
  • Author and maintain REST API documentation with sample code and integration guidance.
  • Create automated test scripts for API performance and reliability and integrate them into quality-checking pipelines.
  • Manage and resolve software quality issues reported by users and internal teams in coordination with support teams.
  • Advocate for user needs during product design and delivery to improve feature usability and value.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with ArcGIS software or other geospatial technology.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, including Amazon S3, SQS, EC2, or Azure.
  • Intermediate understanding of web services, including SOAP and REST.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, verbal, presentation, organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver results independently and collaboratively within time constraints and learn new technologies quickly.
