Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with frontend developers to design, define, and optimize scalable APIs for ArcGIS Online content items, groups, and users.
- Author and maintain REST API documentation with sample code and integration guidance.
- Create automated test scripts for API performance and reliability and integrate them into quality-checking pipelines.
- Manage and resolve software quality issues reported by users and internal teams in coordination with support teams.
- Advocate for user needs during product design and delivery to improve feature usability and value.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with ArcGIS software or other geospatial technology.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, including Amazon S3, SQS, EC2, or Azure.
- Intermediate understanding of web services, including SOAP and REST.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, verbal, presentation, organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver results independently and collaboratively within time constraints and learn new technologies quickly.
