Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy external client-facing web applications embedding Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities.
- Build React-based user experiences for LLM-powered chat, search, document Q&A, summarization, and assisted advisory workflows.
- Implement agentic workflows supporting multi-step execution, tool and API orchestration, human-in-the-loop controls, and guardrails.
- Develop front-end architecture including component patterns, state management, routing, error boundaries, streaming responses, citations, traceability, and retry or fallback flows.
- Implement Model Context Protocol integrations connecting AI agents securely with external data sources, APIs, and enterprise tools.
- Build scalable data pipelines and processing workflows for structured and unstructured data supporting LLM features and real-time client interactions.
- Design and develop APIs and microservices integrating AI and LLM models into client-facing platforms.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance and Software Development Life Cycle automation tools while validating outputs through peer review, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and feedback loops to evaluate agent behavior, detect hallucinations, monitor model performance, and improve reliability.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large datasets to inform product improvements and client outcomes.
- Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate client and business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure client-facing solutions comply with financial-services security, privacy, regulatory, data protection, model governance, and responsible-AI requirements.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Python, data structures, object-oriented design, and API design.
- Experience building external-facing web applications with React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern state management.
- Experience developing back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Experience designing for scalability and resiliency, including fault tolerance and high availability.
- Hands-on experience integrating NLP, LLM, or Generative AI models into production software applications.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to validate and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, including the ability to guide peers.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure for AI/ML model deployment, data processing, and infrastructure management.
- Working knowledge of application security for client-facing financial applications, including authentication, authorization, secure session and identity management, encryption, access controls, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Proficiency with databases and data querying using SQL or an equivalent.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
