Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design software systems that fulfill mission needs in collaboration with peer teams and customers.
- Develop cloud-native software systems using Java and Python.
- Use AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly available services.
- Design and develop performant systems meeting mission criteria and requirements.
- Mentor and help onboard new team members.
- Lead technical roadmap definition and determine features and performance improvements.
- Write, review, operate, and support software managing autonomous spacecraft operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export-control requirements.
