Responsibilities
- Own and develop core components of the Prime Brokerage platform using Java and Kotlin.
- Provide technical leadership to an agile team, mentor developers, and establish coding, testing, and delivery best practices.
- Lead system architecture, design, planning, and estimation discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Oversee project and technical documentation.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve complex risks across the software development lifecycle.
- Manage production support, analyze issue patterns, and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and software application programming.
- Java and test-driven development experience are essential.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
