Responsibilities
- Build and expand consumer-facing features across the full stack with a focus on frontend experiences.
- Create modular, performant, responsive, and accessible components in collaboration with design and content teams.
- Take ownership of user experience for key product surfaces and evolve frontend architecture.
- Develop and extend the platform’s data layer, including GraphQL queries and Node.js services.
- Work across frontend and backend systems to solve product challenges.
- Improve developer experience through intuitive APIs and strong documentation.
- Own and enhance caching and rendering architecture for performance at scale.
- Drive SEO and Core Web Vitals improvements on high-traffic content properties.
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing practices.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews and collaboration with engineering and business partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development experience with strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks like React and Next.js.
- Experience building high-quality consumer web experiences across frontend and backend systems.
- Solid backend experience in languages such as Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with GraphQL, including schema design and queries.
- Familiarity with AI-forward development practices and modern tooling.
