Base Salary

$113k - $257k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze application, system, data, and integration landscapes to identify modernization and optimization opportunities.
  • Architect scalable, secure, maintainable, cloud-ready enterprise solutions, including integration patterns, data pipelines, services, APIs, database integrations, and deployments.
  • Guide engineering teams implementing distributed data systems and enterprise services using Java, Python, C#, .NET, or Scala.
  • Design and optimize relational databases through SQL modeling, query tuning, and data migration strategies.
  • Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, risk assessments, trade-off analyses, and solution documentation.
  • Establish solution design standards, architectural guidelines, and secure-by-design principles.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, cybersecurity specialists, cloud teams, and stakeholders to define requirements and success criteria.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, system design, or solution architecture.
  • At least 5 years of experience with SQL development and relational database design.
  • At least 5 years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or .NET.
  • Experience with enterprise solution architecture, cloud-based deployments, technical discovery, and solution documentation.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and make architectural decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure experience, enterprise data systems, data pipelines, distributed architectures, event-driven architectures, complex system integrations, microservices, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
  • A master's degree and Azure Architect or cloud certification are preferred.
