Base Salary
$233k - $324k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on incorporating AI accelerators into business strategies by designing training and inference platforms that integrate with existing data center technologies.
- Demonstrate Google Cloud accelerator capabilities through proofs of concept, feature demonstrations, model optimization, profiling, and benchmarking.
- Assist with production deployment of Google Cloud accelerators and troubleshoot integrations with compute, networking, and storage systems.
- Enable customers to operate training and inference clusters successfully.
- Build repeatable technical assets for customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the AI Infrastructure Dedicated Engineering Team in Google Compute Engine to scale ML techniques and solutions.
- Advocate for enterprise customer requirements and influence Google Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI.
- Visit customer hosting facilities on site during physical implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with data center technologies, solutions, and deployment.
- Experience with data center networking, routing, switching, DNS, IP addressing, compute and storage concepts, power, cooling, and operational procedures.
- Experience with AI model training and inference, deploying open-source frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX, and optimizing performance versus cost.
- Experience with scripting and coding in Python, YAML, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience training and fine-tuning large models with accelerators.
- Preferred: experience with performance profiling and benchmarking tools such as MLPerf, PyTorch Profiler, and TensorBoard.
- Preferred: experience deploying compute, network, and storage solutions in data centers.
- Preferred: experience deploying TPU clusters.

- US base salary of $233000-$324000, plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
