Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI agents, data capture pipelines, reconciliation workflows, ERP integrations, and other core platform components.
- Design and ship production-grade backend APIs and services powering fund accounting automation.
- Integrate and operate large language models and agentic systems in production.
- Collaborate with design partners and customers to gather requirements, communicate trade-offs, and inform the product roadmap.
- Contribute across architecture, deployment, and product iteration.
- Help attract and evaluate engineering talent as the team grows.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with evidence of building and shipping real products or meaningful side projects.
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and strong computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying LLMs and agentic or autonomous systems in production.
- Experience building or operating AI-native operations infrastructure for accounting, reporting, reconciliation, or treasury.
- Domain knowledge in private-markets fund accounting, reporting, reconciliation, or treasury workflows.
- Ability to contribute across the full product lifecycle rather than focusing exclusively on backend or frontend work.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
- Experience as a co-founder, founding engineer, or entrepreneurial builder is preferred.
Benefits
- Salary range of 70,000 to 110,000 EUR annually.
- Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
- On-site role in Berlin, Germany; candidates must be based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
