Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs using Python and Go.
- Integrate large language models into production systems in collaboration with ML engineers.
- Own feature development from ideation to launch, including gathering requirements and testing.
- Enhance system reliability and scalability by improving testing and refining infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the CEO, product manager, and designer to translate product goals into technical solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and production maintenance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of infrastructure/backend engineering experience.
- Good understanding of database technologies like SQL and Postgres.
- Strong intuition for balancing user needs with technical constraints.
- Comfortable working across the stack from frontend to backend systems.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture, particularly Google Cloud Platform or Terraform.
- Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
