Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade Mendix applications from concept through deployment.
- Independently design and implement scalable Mendix solution architectures.
- Create complex domain models, microflows, business logic, and user interfaces.
- Integrate Mendix applications with enterprise systems and external platforms using REST, SOAP, OData, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Develop custom actions, connectors, platform extensions, widgets, and front-end enhancements.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, global stakeholders, and customers to deliver projects successfully.
- Contribute to technical excellence, knowledge sharing, architecture standards, and reduced technical debt.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering at least 3–4 end-to-end Mendix projects from design through deployment.
- Strong expertise in Mendix Studio Pro, advanced application development, performance optimization, and security configuration.
- Experience designing Mendix solution architectures, domain models, microflows, business logic, and user interfaces.
- Extensive experience with enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong proficiency in Java for custom actions, connectors, and platform extensions.
- Experience with JavaScript, React Native, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS for custom widgets and front-end enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of enterprise development standards, scalability, maintainability, application security, and governance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is mandatory or preferred for most engagements, and Mendix Expert Certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, integration patterns, cloud deployment models, and application modernization is preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, Agile development methodologies, global teams, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
