Base Salary
$145k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create an environment that empowers product engineers with relevant information and tools.
- Design, implement, and operate security controls and services.
- Partner with product and platform teams to integrate security into workflows.
- Perform security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
- Investigate and resolve complex security issues.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and align on security standards.
- Support team growth through peer design/code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or security engineering.
- Understanding of security controls across various domains.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and best practices for security.
- Experience with software engineering practices and related security practices.
- Programming skills in at least one language (Go, Python).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
