Responsibilities
- Work directly with client business teams to understand problems and deliver end-to-end data-to-AI solutions.
- Profile, clean, transform, join, and integrate messy real-world data while building lightweight pipelines and data products.
- Design, build, and demonstrate AI/ML workflows, GenAI solutions, and agentic-AI solutions using cloud-native services.
- Rapidly iterate through prototypes, demonstrations, and feedback to validate or eliminate ideas.
- Define data and solution requirements, source mappings, and designs for validated solutions.
- Build responsibly with attention to data quality, lineage, privacy, guardrails, compliance, and data residency.
- Collaborate with technical leads, architects, business stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute reusable accelerators, connectors, assets, and engineering practices, including preparation for production handoff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with approximately 3+ years of hands-on data, AI, or software engineering experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with approximately 2 years of experience.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines and AI/ML or GenAI solutions.
- Experience with LLM and agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Agent Service, LangChain, LangGraph, or Bedrock Agents.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation patterns and preparing features, embeddings, and retrieval corpora.
- Ability to profile, wrangle, integrate, and model messy real-world data end to end.
- Hands-on cloud experience, ideally with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud services.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include financial-services or regulated-industry experience and awareness of AML/KYC, EU AI Act, GDPR, and data residency controls.
- Preferred experience includes rapid prototyping, hackathons or startups, MLOps, DataOps, LLMOps, production handoff, modern data tooling, cloud certifications, consulting, or product work.
