Base Salary

$200k - $325k/yr

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture for core systems and build foundational abstractions and interfaces.
Build reliable integrations with external clinical data systems, treating it as a systems design problem.
Evolve the infrastructure that supports model training and predictive capabilities.
Prototype to drive experimentation and de-risk ideas quickly.
Evaluate and choose technologies, making build vs. buy decisions.
Make key technical tradeoffs between speed and durability.
Collaborate across product, clinical operations, and data science to solve the right problems.
Help shape the engineering culture of a small, growing team.

10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on system design.
Experience with healthcare data systems (HL7, FHIR, EHR/EMR integrations).
2+ years in a high-growth startup environment.
Deep experience with system integration across unreliable data sources.
Ability to conceptualize complex systems while being effective at implementation.
Experience using AI tooling and frameworks in engineering workflows.
Built data pipelines and infrastructure for analytical or ML workloads in production.
Strong backend skills in Python, SQL, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience building systems from early stages with foundational decisions.
Ability to enhance engineering quality through code review and technical discussions.
