Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available AWS cloud architectures for global digital experiences.
- Define containerized application and orchestration patterns using AWS EKS, Fargate, and ECS.
- Architect event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
- Design secure data-storage, encryption, key-management, and network-segmentation strategies using AWS services.
- Configure and optimize AWS Kinesis for real-time data streaming.
- Evaluate application portfolios and create AWS modernization roadmaps that manage cost and risk.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs.
- Create architecture diagrams, design documents, reference architectures, and implementation guidelines.
- Review implementations for architectural standards, cost optimization, performance, and reliability.
- Guide incident and problem analysis for critical cloud-hosted applications.
- Promote infrastructure as code and automated deployment practices on AWS.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting solutions with AWS CloudFront, EKS, Fargate, ECS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and Key Management Service.
- Strong experience designing containerized workloads and orchestration strategies for microservices, high availability, and efficient resource usage on AWS.
- Proficiency in cloud security design, including encryption at rest and in transit, identity and access management, and secure network segmentation.
- Proven experience building event-driven and streaming architectures with managed messaging and streaming services.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a hybrid work model and translate business needs into cloud solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including evaluation of performance, cost, and reliability trade-offs.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or an equivalent cloud architect certification.
