Responsibilities
- Assess application architecture, dependencies, interfaces, data flows, technical debt, security requirements, and operational constraints to recommend cloud migration or modernization approaches.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application owners, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to define migration requirements and resolve application readiness gaps.
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and related automation platforms.
- Assist teams in modernizing legacy .NET, Java, API, and related application components for cloud readiness.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboard capabilities to support operational visibility and incident response.
- Coordinate migration activities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and implementation status across technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud deployment processes, pipeline usage, container practices, observability, and migration issue resolution.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, or complex IT infrastructure engineering.
- Alternatively, a baccalaureate degree in any field and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience in the specified infrastructure and cloud engineering areas.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to either qualification may be accepted.
