Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own scalable data and ML pipelines and backend services.
- Ship features daily by breaking complex work into manageable increments.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering workflows.
- Own work from design through production deployment and business impact measurement.
- Make timely architectural decisions balancing technology with reliability and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade backend and data systems in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML into production workflows.
- Active use of AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering output.
- Strong backend expertise in Java, Python, and/or Go.
- Demonstrated expertise in automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
- Ability to decompose complex work into small, incremental deliveries.
