Responsibilities
- Build and maintain PPRO’s main payment processing engine exposed through the PPRO API.
- Own products and services end to end from design through production deployment.
- Operate services in production and potentially participate in an on-call rotation.
- Design scalable payment processing products and services and reduce customer integration effort.
- Collaborate with teammates and stakeholder teams through pair programming, ADRs, RFCs, knowledge sharing, and brainstorming.
- Contribute to best practices and creative solutions for large-scale customer problems.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building scalable products and services.
- Knowledge and experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS, EKS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, OpenSearch, Datadog, and Terraform.
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable and deliverable pieces.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, results-oriented approach and motivation for problem solving.
- Excellent writing and drawing skills and willingness to communicate ideas clearly.
- Working proficiency in English.
- Payments industry experience is a plus.
- Hands-on AI experience as a software engineer is welcome.
