Responsibilities
- Develop new application features and perform unit and component testing.
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TypeScript, and Playwright.
- Automate REST API testing, including JSON/XML validation, API mocking, and service virtualization.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support defect lifecycle management.
- Perform accessibility testing using Axe, Lighthouse, and Accessibility Insights, and address WCAG compliance issues.
- Conduct code reviews, quality management reviews, design reviews, and operational readiness activities.
- Analyze incidents and outages, assess impact, support resolution, and help prevent recurring issues.
- Recommend testing tools and solutions, improve engineering processes, and support risk-based and performance testing practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java development and test automation.
- 5+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
- 2+ years of experience with Playwright automation.
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
- Strong Java programming skills and experience with Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks.
- Extensive experience with API test automation, REST APIs, JSON/XML validation, API mocking, and service virtualization.
- Experience with Rest Assured, Postman/Newman, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of test automation strategy, test framework design, test data management, defect lifecycle management, risk-based testing, and accessibility testing.
- Hands-on experience with Axe, Lighthouse, Accessibility Insights, and WCAG compliance standards.
- Preferred experience with React applications, Single Page Applications, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Azure or AWS, performance testing tools, enterprise Agile environments, and AI-assisted testing tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, continuous-learning, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
