Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and execute complex software tests within a defined functional area.
  • Lead hands-on testing activities and provide end-to-end test strategy, planning, and execution leadership.
  • Build, enhance, and deploy BDD and test automation frameworks and service virtualization capabilities.
  • Develop automated tests and integrate testing into CI/CD/CT delivery pipelines.
  • Participate in demand intake, capacity forecasting, project lifecycles, and platform lifecycles.
  • Define and monitor quality metrics, identify risks, and communicate mitigation strategies.
  • Estimate testing costs and deliverables while optimizing quality-related expenditures.
  • Drive continuous improvement and advocate for quality and high-quality code across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience in software testing.
  • Experience with API, ETL, and accessibility testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, GitHub, and RestAssured.
  • Experience designing and automating tests and enhancing automation frameworks.
  • Ability to develop test strategies, plan testing activities, and use data to support quality decisions.
