Responsibilities

  • Build and configure Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions covering catalogs, pricing, promotions, carts, search, product recommendations, inventory, and order management.
  • Set up, build, and maintain Salesforce Communities and Experience sites.
  • Design and implement technical solutions using CPQ.
  • Integrate Salesforce with organizational systems using Salesforce APIs and MuleSoft.
  • Develop and implement solutions using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
  • Gather and translate business requirements, assist product owners with feature definition, and present solution options to stakeholders.
  • Prototype, develop, test, document, release, and support solutions across the software development lifecycle.
  • Review fellow engineers’ work, maintain coding standards, and contribute to developer productivity and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project status and open issues, resolve complex problems independently, and participate in development communities of practice.
  • Work assigned shifts and provide occasional support during critical issues, releases, or migrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 4–6 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 3 years of Salesforce B2B development experience.
  • Proficiency with CPQ, CMS, Field Service Lightning, Order Management, Billing, and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with headless commerce, GA, and MuleSoft integration.
  • Competency in SQL and REST/SOAP-based web services is desirable.
  • Ability to gather requirements, interpret and critique technical specifications, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and debugging techniques and experience working on an Agile development team, preferably using Scrum.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, solve complex problems, and manage a varied workload.
  • Desirable certifications include Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Field Service Lightning Consultant, and Experience Cloud Consultant.
  • Active participation in the Salesforce community and continued professional development are desirable.

Benefits

  • The role is based in Bangalore, India, with shifts of 12:00 P.M.–9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M.–11:00 P.M. IST.
  • Employees work from the office during the initial six-month probation period and then transition to a hybrid working model.
  • Employees may occasionally be asked to work a different shift to support critical issues, releases, or migrations.
