Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production data and machine-learning services and real-time API endpoints.
- Build, deploy, and orchestrate Docker containers while optimizing performance and resource utilization.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure and research-and-development solutions using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Monitor model performance and infrastructure health to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure ML systems.
- Develop CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and dbt.
- Write tested Python for production-grade data pipelines and services.
- Deliver data extracts, transformations, and features for modeling and analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical and non-technical teams to shape solutions and communicate technical decisions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production services.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar service-orchestration technologies.
- Experience managing real-time endpoints or APIs and automating deployments into production environments.
- Experience building or supporting cloud infrastructure for data or predictive services, preferably with Azure or another public cloud platform.
- Experience with Terraform and scalable, secure infrastructure patterns is highly desirable.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and automated testing, packaging, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with PySpark is beneficial.
- Experience with dbt and Microsoft Fabric is relevant to the DataOps work.
