Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software.
- Provide front-end and back-end enhancements and maintenance for mission-critical systems.
- Analyze user needs and system capabilities and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
- Design graphical user interfaces and coordinate interaction with backend system designers.
- Perform initial, functional, and regression testing on developed code.
- Coordinate and prioritize enhancements, modifications, and bug fixes.
- Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, system and business analysts, and other development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of experience, master’s degree and three or more years of experience, or PhD and zero years of related experience.
- DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience with C and C++.
- Preferred: familiarity with BMEWS, PAVE, PAWS, BPP, PARCS, or other ground-based radar systems.
- Preferred: IAT Level 2 certification, technical writing skills, and experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
