Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain reusable frontend and backend trading-platform systems.
- Develop high-volume software involving complex state management, Bloomberg Terminal integration, and data subscription pipelines.
- Lead critical projects, contribute to software architecture, and collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders.
- Write reliable code, improve development practices, and contribute to shared infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and support team growth.
- Triage and debug production problems while maintaining system stability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with modern programming languages and a desire to become a JavaScript or TypeScript expert.
- Strong software engineering judgment focused on quality and correctness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical problems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with platforms, APIs, or plugin architectures is preferred.
- Familiarity with Redux or React is preferred.
- Experience leading large projects with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
- Experience triaging and debugging production problems is preferred.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers is preferred.
