Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models and LLM-powered systems.
- Define technical direction and select best-fit ML algorithms and technologies for critical solutions.
- Build complex data pipelines, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI integrations for production environments.
- Implement advanced prompting strategies, orchestration frameworks, inference engines, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Translate early-stage prototypes into robust, scalable production systems.
- Optimize system latency, throughput, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, solutions architecture, MLOps, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
- Help guide national security customers through AI/ML algorithms, tools, frameworks, and strategy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or AI systems development using Python.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining LLM-powered systems and complex data pipelines in production.
- Experience with advanced prompting, LangChain or LlamaIndex, vLLM or TGI, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
- Experience integrating embeddings, vector databases such as LanceDB, pgvector, and Elasticsearch, and RAG pipelines.
- Ability to build scalable production systems and optimize latency, throughput, performance, and reliability.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred experience includes MLOps, DevOps, infrastructure, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, model architectures, inference optimization, open-source model fine-tuning, distributed systems, Kafka, and enterprise microservice architectures.
- An existing Secret clearance is preferred.
