Base Salary
$124k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks, automation, and tooling that improve developer efficiency and self-service operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain distributed ML Runtime applications, frameworks, and software components.
- Build and operate DevOps pipelines for deploying, monitoring, and scaling machine learning runtime environments.
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized production workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, Service Mesh, ArgoCD, and related tools.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code, manage capacity, and operate services across public cloud environments.
- Research, prototype, and drive adoption of ML tools with reliability and scalability in mind.
- Collaborate with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Tech Leads, and other engineering teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide rotational on-call support and proactively resolve operational issues.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- At least 3 years of DevOps experience, including infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Proficiency in Python and strong system design and technical documentation skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for scaling software and ML workloads.
- Experience with Terraform, Git, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of machine learning, distributed systems, microservices, RESTful services, and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience building monitoring services and using monitoring tools such as Grafana.
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS products, documentation, runbooks, and rotational on-call support.
- Experience leading or mentoring teammates and collaborating effectively in an inclusive team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
Benefits
- Primary location base salary range is $137,000 USD–$205,400 USD annually.
- Additional U.S. location base salary range is $123,900 USD–$222,000 USD annually.
- May be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
- Flexible work model requires at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or in the field.
