Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage secure Microsoft services in cloud and hybrid environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and compliance enforcement using PowerShell scripts and Bicep templates.
- Align systems with DoD STIGs, FedRAMP, and JSIG federal security frameworks.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on secure configurations, patching strategies, and continuous monitoring.
- Support incident response, vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and on-call rotations.
- Maintain documentation for accreditation and compliance reporting.
- Mentor engineers in secure systems design, automation, and federal compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience with one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with polygraph.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
- Preferred: experience with AI coding assistants and agents, Azure networking, and ARM/Bicep deployments.
- Preferred: a relevant master’s degree and 3+ years of technical experience, or a relevant bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 1+ year of technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
Benefits
- Base pay is listed at USD $102,100–$202,200 per year nationally, with a separate range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The role requires passing recurring Microsoft Cloud background checks every two years and maintaining the required government clearance and screenings.
