Base Salary
$142k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve AI platform solutions, infrastructure, and tooling for engineering teams.
- Own technical designs spanning multiple engineers and break complex work into actionable tasks.
- Develop deployment processes, automation, alerting, databases, and cloud infrastructure for AI services.
- Use Kubernetes and AWS to build and optimize cloud-native systems.
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical and career guidance.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Define system metrics and events, document designs and processes, and improve quality, security, scalability, and performance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Expert proficiency in Python and the ability to write clean, maintainable, and extensible code.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience with container orchestration and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS using infrastructure-as-code frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of AI concepts and technologies, including AWS AgentCore or similar platforms and frameworks.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend technical solutions and solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to design systems that are testable, maintainable, efficient, and extensible.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and coordinating work across teams.
