Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions and explain technologies to customers.
- Gather requirements and propose solutions including hardware, software, and engineering services.
- Provide recommendations on implementation strategies and optimal solutions.
- Develop design and system configurations based on technical requirements.
- Create scalable solutions for data centers, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewalls.
- Assess and design on-premises to cloud migration solutions.
- Prepare statements of work (SOWs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for projects.
- Train deployment engineers for on-site deployment and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business area.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level design and deployment of hypervisors and networking.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure IaaS, including migrations and optimizations.
- Current Cisco data networking certifications (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE) preferred.
- Experience with Datto and Veeam for BCDR solutions.
- Proficient in routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and prepare SOWs and BOMs.
