Responsibilities
- Work with customer engineering teams to design and implement real-time applications.
- Design scalable architectures for voice AI and real-time media.
- Build prototype integrations and reference implementations.
- Help customers navigate SDKs, APIs, and deployment strategies.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues in production.
- Lead technical workshops and architecture sessions.
- Translate customer needs into technical insights for product development.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve developer experience.
- Contribute to LiveKit's open-source ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Go, Python, Node, Rust, or C++.
- Comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience building or integrating developer platforms or real-time systems.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with customer and internal teams.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with ownership and initiative.
