Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices and backend services running on Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Contribute to shared platform capabilities, including libraries, service frameworks, authentication services, and infrastructure components.
- Develop API Gateway integrations, messaging adapters, caching solutions, auditing frameworks, and observability features.
- Support AI-enabled capabilities and integrations with Generative AI and LLM services.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Write clean, tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical standards and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues across application, platform, and infrastructure layers.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, operational excellence, design reviews, and platform modernization.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong foundation in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Good understanding of databases, SQL, and data-access patterns.
- Familiarity with software design principles, testing methodologies, and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and modern application deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: exposure to Azure or other public cloud platforms; Kafka, MQ, or messaging integrations; CI/CD pipelines; DevOps practices; monitoring, observability, and logging tools; GitHub Copilot; and Generative AI or LLM solutions.
