Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end BDD, API, web UI, mobile UI, performance, security, exploratory, and accessibility testing.
- Own testing delivery within the POD, managing dependencies and touchpoints across PODs and Quality Engineering teams.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test coverage and test automation frameworks.
- Represent Quality Engineering in Scrum ceremonies and project forums, communicating quality status, risks, defects, and progress.
- Provide evidence-based release-readiness recommendations and advise on go-live decisions.
- Improve quality engineering standards, processes, and ways of working, and mentor automation and exploratory testers.
- Remove blockers through structured problem-solving and measure improvements that increase efficiency and value.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, implementing, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong Quality Engineering and test management skills, including understanding of the retail banking domain.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java and Maven or Gradle.
- Strong API testing capability using REST principles and REST Assured or Karate.
- UI automation experience for web and mobile using Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
- Understanding of BDD approaches and tooling including Cucumber and Gherkin, plus JUnit or TestNG.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery, in-sprint automation, CI/CD exposure such as Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
- Basic understanding of performance testing and cybersecurity testing concepts within a quality strategy.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, and device/browser farms such as BrowserStack or equivalent.
