Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, integrations, and enhancements supporting budgeting, forecasting, allocation, and reporting.
- Build and support API-based integrations and automated data movement processes across Oracle Planning and related enterprise systems.
- Use AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, refactoring, documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvements.
- Design technical solutions with architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and support organizations, and contribute to modernization and roadmap initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and data issues; monitor application health, integration performance, and batch processing; and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, including AI-assisted test generation and coverage improvements.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, runbooks, support documentation, and implementation guides.
- Evaluate emerging AI and enterprise technology capabilities and promote responsible AI engineering practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting and developing enterprise applications, preferably Oracle EPM Planning solutions.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for software engineering, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, or testing.
- Experience with API-based enterprise integrations, middleware technologies, and enterprise application support.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Planning, business rules, Groovy scripting, calculation scripting, and financial planning processes.
- Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities, software engineering knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and root cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of cloud services, software development lifecycle practices, enterprise software engineering principles, and financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, allocation, and reporting processes.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including transparency, accountability, security, privacy, fairness, and human oversight.
- Preferred qualifications include Oracle EPM certifications, prompt engineering, AI-assisted solution design, AI-powered code analysis, AI services and APIs, cloud-native development patterns, scripting, process automation, and optimization.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, communication, organization, problem-solving, quality, reliability, and continuous-learning skills.
