Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reporting, and use identified patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Apply software development life cycle knowledge and contribute to secure, resilient, high-quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security, and peer guidance.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile engineering practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
