Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale local and remote caching layers using C++, Python, and GraphQL for low-latency data retrieval.
- Architect Kubernetes-friendly caching solutions and infrastructure patterns for cloud-native clients.
- Revamp the Customer Record data model to support evolving business processes.
- Implement data governance, compliance, privacy, and security controls.
- Optimize queue-based event propagation and database replication while eliminating race conditions.
- Establish SLOs and SLAs and build observability frameworks with Grafana dashboards, alerting, and latency analysis.
- Own platform reliability and collaborate with engineering, product, business, and application teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and releasing high-quality software in Python, C++, C#, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience building high-scale caching platforms or data access layers.
- Experience with message brokers, distributed caching, and relational databases such as RabbitMQ, Redis, Comdb2, SQL Server, and GraphQL.
- Expertise in system design, data modeling, and API design.
- Strong fundamentals in low-latency data access and caching mechanisms.
- Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and deep latency and error analysis.
- A high standard for software maturity, operational resilience, and data governance.
