Responsibilities
- Participate in or lead technical design sessions focused on maintainability, code reuse, and testing efficiency.
- Develop software according to business and technical requirements.
- Create test data and perform unit, integration, performance, and stress testing.
- Design and develop automation, including continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
- Participate in retrospectives and implement process improvements.
- Participate in or lead client product and feature demonstrations.
- Identify and manage risks supporting release goals.
- Address and resolve issues identified by clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, completed and verified before starting.
- Experience with Java software development is preferred.
- Experience with Python software development is preferred.
- Experience with web services and web application development, including REST, JavaScript, and Angular, is preferred.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting is preferred.
- Experience using Git and/or Jira is preferred.
- Experience with Gradle, Ant, or Maven is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database design is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed team members is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
- Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time-efficient manner is preferred.
