Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and ship production AI-native product identity and matching systems.
- Serve LLM-based inference over petabyte-scale product data with sub-millisecond latency.
- Engineer distributed systems capable of supporting millions of requests per second.
- Solve problems involving large language models, retrieval, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
- Improve the quality of Amazon’s product catalog and customer and seller experiences.
- Work through the full software development lifecycle, including coding, design, testing, operations, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development life cycle experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
