Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Manage and optimize Docker and Kubernetes workloads and architect infrastructure for scale and AI workloads.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using tools such as ELK, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Amazon CloudWatch.
- Operate and tune Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance, backups, restores, and high availability.
- Support Redis-based caching, session storage, and pub/sub workloads in production.
- Apply DevSecOps practices and collaborate with backend engineering teams to improve deployment and runtime reliability.
- Use AI-assisted tools and anomaly detection systems to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure; experience with both is a strong plus.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and a deep understanding of containerization and distributed systems.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and implementing Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, backup and restore, and high-availability experience.
- Production experience with Redis for caching, session storage, or pub/sub.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, system architecture, observability, monitoring, and incident management.
- Experience working in high-availability SaaS environments and collaborating with backend engineering teams.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English are required.
- Preferred qualifications include DevSecOps experience, familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, cloud cost optimization, GitOps, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, both AWS and Azure, Bash or Python scripting, and French.
