Responsibilities
- Serve as the chief architect for the global connector group.
- Lead initiatives to optimize SaaS connectors for performance.
- Drive engineering excellence through architecture design and reviews.
- Lead engineering-wide initiatives across key technologies.
- Collaborate with the Office of the CTO as a member of the architecture guild.
- Work closely with other principal engineers across multiple locations.
- Contribute to delivering robust, scalable features as an active team member.
- Enhance engineering systems, documentation, and development processes.
- Coach and mentor senior/staff engineers.
- Support hiring efforts by participating in the interview process.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience in designing and delivering large-scale software products.
- Extensive experience as an architect or principal level engineer.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale architectural projects.
- Thrives in collaborative settings with technical and non-technical team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to engage across all levels.
- Extensive back-end development experience for customer-facing products.
- Skilled in writing well-structured, efficient code.
- Experienced in developing concepts and bringing projects to production-ready status.
- Proficient in end-to-end system profiling, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Experienced in cloud environment architectures using AWS, GCP, and PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines and relational databases.
