Responsibilities
- Embed with business desks and operations leads to understand workflows, tools, pain points, and opportunities for AI-enabled redesign.
- Run discovery sessions, prioritize opportunities, and distinguish genuine workflow redesign from simple automation requests.
- Design and build working AI prototypes and proof-of-concepts directly with desk teams, iterating from real usage and feedback.
- Map end-to-end processes and recommend redesigned workflows, roles, handoffs, and controls around AI-native capabilities.
- Transition validated prototypes into governed, production-ready solutions with AI Innovation, technology, security, and platform teams.
- Drive change management and training, and monitor deployed solutions for performance, drift, and usage.
- Contribute reusable skills, prompts, and workflow patterns to the firm-wide Claude skills catalog.
- Identify reusable patterns across desks and support catalog discovery, deprecation, and ownership practices.
- Connect business desks with AI Innovation, technology, data, and architecture teams, while partnering with legal, compliance, risk, and security on governance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technology, product, or process/workflow transformation roles, including hands-on experience building with AI/ML or LLM-based tools.
- Financial-services experience, ideally in asset-based finance, structured credit, or an adjacent lending or capital-markets business.
- Experience as a forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or similar embedded technical professional working directly with business stakeholders.
- Strong process and workflow design skills, including current-state mapping and genuinely redesigned target-state development.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent or skill-based frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, vector stores, tool or function calling, and multi-step agent orchestration.
- Experience translating ambiguous business problems into scoped, buildable AI solutions with non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with desk and operations leads.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to travel to or spend regular time with desk teams as needed.
- Preferred experience with CRE, residential, auto/equipment, transportation, energy, infrastructure, or fund finance asset classes.
- Preferred experience building an internal tools or skills catalog or reusable component library.
