Base Salary
$186k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build GenAI proofs of concept using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks to address ambiguous business problems.
- Lead delivery of complex AI applications, including multi-agent systems and MCP servers, from prototypes to production.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to create tool roadmaps for YouTube business operations.
- Author technical designs, write maintainable code, build front ends, and deliver solutions from scoping through deployment.
- Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks while improving data readiness, system integration, state management, accuracy, safety, compliance, and latency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- At least 9 years of experience building APIs or web applications and designing scalable architectures involving backend data pipelines, distributed systems, and data privacy.
- At least 8 years of full-stack development experience using one or more programming languages and building enterprise-grade applied AI solutions.
- At least 4 years of experience working with teams and business stakeholders to create product roadmaps.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with SRE, InfoSec, DevOps, LLM evaluation pipelines, observability, LLM-native metrics, vulnerability testing, security auditing, AI safety guardrails, enterprise AI data infrastructure, multi-agent systems, MCP, orchestration frameworks, GTM, sales workflows, or CRMs.
